We are the result of our habits, our behavior. And behind every behavior and every habit, behind every emotion, feeling, action or reaction there is a hormone. We are what our biochemistry makes us, and our personal experience of happiness cannot escape this natural principle. Happiness is the logical and natural result of our conscious actions (not our unconscious reactions!). The more often we perform them consciously, the faster they become our new, good habits, and our biochemistry changes positively: we have to “train” to be happy.
